The pastoral concentration is for men only and includes not only a thorough Bible curriculum but also practical courses in church ministry, counseling, homiletics, leadership, biblical languages, Baptist history, and computers. This concentration prepares the student for the calling of pastor or for an assistant role on a church staff. This page includes a prescribed sequence of course study for this concentration.

College Experience

Men training to be pastors see ministry in action on a daily basis, and grow personally through powerful daily chapel services. Students apply the principles they are learning through ministry opportunities like teaching a Sunday school class or preaching in an extension ministry.
