One highlight of Graduation is the presentation of Scholarship awards. Meet Matt Price, married student and a graduating senior at WCBC. Matt was a recipient of last year's Married Student scholarship.
I served in the ministry for 13 years while living in Tennessee. I learned many things during those years, including the importance of finishing my education. In the summer of 2017, I attended the spiritual leadership conference at Lancaster Baptist Church. God used that conference to begin working in my heart about finishing my degree. By August of that year, my family moved to Lancaster California. During the last 3 years, I have been challenged to live by faith, dig deeper into the Word of God, and to take personally God’s calling to be a laborer in His harvest."
We're looking forward to seeing how the Lord will provide for other students through scholarships at our twenty-fifth graduation ceremony!
