Create a Scholarship

At West Coast Baptist College, student scholarships play a large role in advancing the mission of Training Laborers for His Harvest. The college invites supporters to establish scholarships to provide financial assistance to current and future students of WCBC. A scholarship is easy to establish and provides help for students who are preparing for ministry.

Donors may tailor scholarships so they will be awarded to students who meet the criteria that have been established. Examples of recipient requirements to consider include year in college, program major, GPA minimum, etc. In accordance to this criteria, eligible students will be identified and awarded by the college Administrative Team. These scholarships will be awarded in the final week of the spring semester and applied to the student’s school bill in the following school year.

Name of the Scholarship
WCBC will provide a named scholarship(s), unless the donor requests anonymity. The scholarship may be named according to the donors wishes, such as the name of the donor, in honor of a particular individual, or in the name of a church or business.

Selection of Scholarship Recipients

The scholarship will be distributed according to the purpose and criteria specified above. To have the gift qualify as a tax-deductible donation, the donor recognizes that college administration retains control of the scholarship recipient selection. Scholarships shall be awarded in accordance with the donor’s specified purpose and in accordance with the general scholarship policies of the College.

Acknowledgment

Scholarship Funds are recognized by West Coast Baptist College in publications and programs unless the donor has indicated the desire to remain anonymous.

Please write a brief explanation regarding the establishment of this scholarship. This will be published in a booklet during the Commencement week.
