All listed times are estimates and subject to change due to traffic, rider loads, late signups, and other uncontrollable variables. Changed shuttle times will be communicated when possible, and the rider should expect the possibility of waiting due to these changes both announced and unannounced.

Policies

Our foremost desire is to care for our students’ and guests airport shuttle needs as wonderfully as possible. These policies have been developed to protect that experience for our riders.

  • Airport shuttles are available for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Bob Hope Airport (BUR).
  • Payments must be made at the time of registration. Unfortunately, this cost cannot be added to a student bill. Payments are non-refundable.
  • The shuttle office will email riders their specific information such as meeting places and times. When time allows, we will also try to reach riders on the phone. However, this is not always possible. It is the rider’s responsibility to check their email and be aware of their specific shuttle details.
  • Riders should complete their airport shuttle registration at least two full business days before their departure date. Registrations made with less than two full business days in advance will incur a late fee. Saturdays and Sundays are non-business days and will not be considered in the assessing of any late fees. (To avoid any late fees, Monday shuttles need to be scheduled before Thursday of the week prior to avoid late fees, and Tuesday shuttles need to be scheduled before Friday of the week prior.)

Prices

(Effective for all registrations on or following January 11, 2016)

In an effort to keep cost to the rider as minimal as possible, we charge riders on a sliding scale. The more riders there are in a shuttle, the cheaper the ride becomes for each person as the cost of the run can be more broadly dispersed.

The college pays many costs for these shuttles that it does not pass on to riders such as insurance; van wear and tear; administrative costs like scheduling, confirming details with riders, HR expenses and organizing all run details; maintenance; smog certifications, registrations and renewals; etc. We only ask riders to pay for the cost we incur for the driver’s pay and the fuel. Currently, the average cost for these two items per airport run is approximately $86.00.

Late Fees
Registering late will require payment of an additional late fee. Registering between one and two business days in advance of the departure date will result in a $25.00 late fee and registering less than one full business day in advance of your departure date will result in a $50.00 late fee.
