This will be an in-depth look at the counseling responsibilities of Christian leaders. It will include a study of the techniques to be used to provide biblical counsel to those who are hurting and in need of guidance. It will also discuss the precautions that need to be taken by a Christian leader when counseling.

Preventative Youth Counseling

This course addresses topics pertaining to preventative counsel for teenagers and their parents and explores the most effective ways to prepare teens for the more common challenges and transitions of life. The knowledge and skills presented are most relevant for the Christian young adult but are applicable to any teen. Some of the core topics covered in this course include having a biblical perspective in life, making wise decisions, understanding God's will, and engaging in mature relationships.

Biblical Counseling: Conflict Resolution

This biblical counseling course deals with conflict and how it can be resolved through appropriate application of biblical principles. The sufficiency of Scripture will be paramount as the student learns to resolve conflict. Prerequisite: EN 102

BC 402 3

Biblical Counseling: Marriage

This biblical counseling course will look at the divine design for marriage along with proper biblical roles in marriage. It will also address some of the more common issues that married couples face. Students will be equipped to biblically counsel married couples and help them thrive in their marriage. Prerequisite: EN 102
