The Church Planting Minor encompasses 16 credit hours of related courses. Students will have the opportunity to build and develop skills in planting local churches while taking courses in Introduction to Church Planting, Biblical Foundations for Church Planting, History of Church Planting, Birth to Maturity as a Church Plant, Developing a Church Planting Ministry, Church Planting on the Mission Field, Church Planting Methodology, Church Planting Extension Team, and Church Planting Summer Internship. This minor is designed to prepare students to participate in church planting ministry and will give them practical experience on church planting teams.
