WCBC Educators Conference

"Christian Schools were started for the purpose of Christian Education… God wants Christianity to be a living display." These words helped set the tone during the opening service of the annual West Coast Educators Conference, Making a Difference Through Education. Dr. John Goetsch gave the challenge in the opening session about the five essentials that give Christian education authority: a piety of heart, a purity of motive, a proficiency of doctrine, a persistence of conduct, and a preparation for His coming. Educators from across the country, along with West Coast juniors and seniors, split into smaller workshops geared toward their area of teaching. Throughout this two day conference, teachers were reminded of the values of Christian education and were able to learn about methods and concepts that would better their teaching and allow them to better impact their students' lives for Christ.
