"It doesn't feel like Christmas," Melissa Goodall commented to a friend. With the growing anticipation of Christmas and the stress of finals coming up there isn't much time for the normal Christmas traditions, but on Friday the students had the opportunity to go to the Valencia Town Center and the Ice Station Valencia. Decorated with Christmas trees and snowmen, the mall was an exciting place to shop. Several students took the chance to do a little shopping for presents. After dinner and a bit of browsing, they went to the ice rink. Once the group got their skates on, they tried the ice. For a couple hours they skated around; some trying to do tricks and others just trying not to fall. It was a lot of fun, and when asked if it felt like Christmas, Melissa answered with a smile, "It's getting there."
