The Excitement, Activity, and Revival Spirit of WCBC's Opening Week

Sep 07, 2009

Fifteen years ago, West Coast Baptist College opened its doors for the first time to forty students.

Today, it is the home to hundreds of students from around the globe. As a part of the opening week, Dr. R.B. Ouellette from Bridgeport, Michigan, and Dr. David Gibbs, Jr. of the Christian Law Association challenged the students about allowing God to write the story for their lives while realizing that He is guiding them each step of the way.

You can hear one of Dr. Ouellette's messages here.

You can also listen to Dr. Gibbs message here.

You can also watch Dr. Paul Chappell's Wednesday chapel message here.

Opening week had a full schedule which included getting settled into dorm rooms, filling out forms, standing in lines for registration, and buying books.

Each evening the student body met on the ball field for activities and snacks following the services. The end of the week concluded with a trip to a Dodgers game.
