West Coast Baptist College is pleased to announce a Church Planting minor will be offered starting this fall semester. This minor will include nine classes that will specifically focus on equipping young men to effectively plant strong churches that will reach their communities and are built on a solid biblical foundation.

This past semester, Pastor Mark Irmler joined our college staff and every weekend took a team of young men to a different city in order to mentor them in the area of church planing. They went to various areas in Southern California and surveyed cities where there were not any good, bible-preaching, local churches, met city leaders, and knocked doors. This church planting minor program will allow us to develop an annual church planting team, so every year here at West Coast Baptist College, there will be a team of men ready to plant a church. By God's grace, even while they are in college, they will have a part in the planting of a local New Testament church, and perhaps when they graduate, have the opportunity to pastor that church.

I hope you will encourage the young men here at West Coast Baptist College as well as the young men in your local church to prayerfully consider planting a church for the glory of God. Pray with us, that God will raise up a wave of young men that will have the burden to start a local New Testament church. West Coast Baptist College will give them a strategy and biblical principles to fulfill their call, then send them out to do a great work for God.
