Dr Salazar is a husband of more than 20 years and father of four teenagers. He leads the staff and students of the K-12 Christian School on campus, as well as teaches upper level education majors and master students at West Coast Baptist College. Dr. Salazar earned his Bachelor's degree in business from the University of NC and worked as a corporate controller for seven years in the banking industry after serving in the military as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He also earned an MBA from Campbell University and a Masters in Ministry from Luther Rice University before earning his Doctorate in Education from Pensacola Christian College ministry. Dr. Salazar enjoys spending time with his family in the Lord's great outdoors - hiking, horse-back riding, and white-water rafting.
